When you shop with us, access our services or websites, the terms outlined on this page apply. It sets out in plain language what we expect from you and what you can expect from us, and it includes some helpful info too. Our terms and conditions are kept relevant and up to date, so please check back in before you shop, as the latest version overrides any previous versions. Lifetime Warranty

We believe the best way to make a product sustainable is to make it last a lifetime or more. We are conscious that humans are consuming our planet’s natural resources at a disastrous rate and our lifetime warranty and tree planting initiative help reduce our impact.

We use the highest quality materials in production coupled with precise manufacturing processes, but bad things happen to good people (and products) and rarely some individual products may fail. If your Gobe product fails from normal usage, we will replace it. To make a lifetime warranty claim, fill out our return product form and our customer support team will be able to help out.

 

Your responsibilities

To shop with us, you need to be at least 16 years old and have a credit or debit card that we accept, and be authorised to use it.

 

Placing an order

On your transaction history and invoice, you will see Gobe Corp Pty Ltd (ABN  35 163 651 081) of 5/74 Centennial Circuit, Byron Bay, NSW, 2481. Please reach out to our Customer Support team if you have any invoice or payment questions.

When you successfully complete an order, you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging your order. We then carry out a standard pre-authorisation check to make sure there’s enough money on your card to complete the order. We only accept your order once payment has been approved and we have debited the payment card.

Very occasionally, we may need to refuse or cancel an order or freeze or close an account (even if we have previously confirmed your order). We will only do this if we notice unusual activity with an order or account. If this happens to you and you think we’ve made a mistake, please get in touch with our customer support team and they’ll be happy to chat with you about it.

 

Prices and descriptions

Gobe HQ is staffed entirely by very human people and, occasionally, we make mistakes. If we discover an error for any goods you’ve ordered, we will tell you ASAP and give you the option of reconfirming your order (at the correct price) or cancelling it. Prices include VAT and GST for relevant regions.

Depending on your total order amount or the delivery option you choose, delivery costs may also be charged and will be clearly shown during the checkout process. Your credit or debit card provider may charge currency conversion or other fees in relation to your order. You should check with the issuer of your credit or debit card for details of any such fees – this is out of our control.

 

Delivery

Before you finalise your order, you can choose free standard shipping, or express shipping at an additional cost. Please note that the indicative timings provided are only estimates and can be affected by local circumstances such as postal or logistics delays or horrid weather. Returns and refunds

Our returns policy is simple. You can lodge a claim within 30 days of purchase and the return package is your responsibility until it is delivered to us, so we recommend tracked shipping.

 

A few things to note

1. 30 days

You’re welcome to return Gobe products for any reason within 30 days of purchase. To avoid disappointment, please note that returns claims for non-defective products made outside this time will not be processed.

 

2. Refunds

To be refunded for your product, you need to return the product and packaging in unused, original condition in an unmarked, intact state. All items, including cleaning cloths and tree codes, must be included. Products that are not in this condition cannot be refunded. Please note that return shipping costs will not be refunded, and you also need to cover shipping costs for the new item.

 

3. Exchange

If you ordered the wrong product for any reason, we can exchange it for the correct item provided it is returned in unused, original condition including all packaging in an unmarked, intact state.

 

4. Defects

If you believe your product is defective, please attach proof of the issue with your claim form. Without it we cannot assess your claim, so to make this process as quick as possible, please add a photo or video. If deemed defective you will receive a replacement free of charge, this applies to the lifetime of your product.

 

5. Track your return

Please note that we can not take responsibility for return deliveries. To avoid your package going missing, we recommend you use registered or tracked shipping because parcels remain your responsibility until they are delivered to Gobe.

What happens if I want to return an order paid for using Afterpay?

If you've placed an order with Afterpay, your payment is split into 4 equal amounts. If you return an item within 30 days of purchase, we'll give you a full refund. Gobe has no liability to you for these instalments or any additional charges incurred, so make sure to pay them off in full.

 

Original condition

All returned items should be sent back to us in their original condition together with the original packaging in as-new, resellable condition. If an item is returned to us used or damaged or in an unsellable condition, we won’t be able to give you a refund and we may have to send it back to you (and ask you to cover the delivery costs). Alternatively, at our sole discretion, we may choose to issue a store credit or reduce your refund to reflect any reduction in the value of an item.

 

Faulty goods

All our products come with a lifetime warranty. If your product is faulty please contact our Customer Support Team and include details about the problem with the goods, a photo or a video of the issue will make the claim as quick as possible. A product is deemed faulty if it does not work as advertised or ceases to work as advertised under normal use. Any faulty item will be replaced or repaired free of charge.

 

Liability

You may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You also may be entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Gobe is not liable for, and no measure of damages will, under any circumstances, include special, consequential, incidental, indirect, or punitive damages. Nor will it include any damages for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, anticipated savings or loss or corruption of data, whether in contract, under statute, tort (including negligence), in equity, under an indemnity, based on fundamental breach or breach of a fundamental term or on any other basis, whether or not such loss or damage was foreseeable and even if advised of the possibility of the loss or damage.

 

Discount codes

From time to time, we may send you discount codes. Remember, it’s up to you to enter the code at checkout and discounts cannot be retroactively applied. If you’re given a unique discount code, we recommend you keep it secret as it will be restricted to a single usage. If we think a discount code has been misused in any way, we can cancel it and/or close your account without warning.

 

Gift cards

If you’re buying someone else a Gobe gift card, please make sure you get their email address correct. If you get it wrong and the gift card is emailed to someone else who uses it, we cannot replace or refund it. Gobe reserves the right to cancel any gift cards at its discretion where fraud or misuse is suspected.

 

Your information

Our Privacy Policy explains how we’ll use your information. If your details change, remember that you need to update them in your Gobe Account so you can continue receiving our best. You can also update your communications preferences there.

 

Things you shouldn’t do

You must not misuse or tamper with our websites or other services (“Websites”) (e.g. hack, implant any viruses, logic bombs or other technologically harmful material or carry out denial of service attacks) or otherwise meddle with any aspect of our websites. You must not scrape or steal any of our customers’ data or our data. Doing any of these things will be reported along with all and any information about the perpetrators to relevant authorities.

Mischief makers kindly note: you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gobe, its directors, employees and contractors, and affiliates, from any and all third-party claims, liability, damages and or costs (including, but not limited to, legal fees) arising from your use (or misuse) of our products or websites or your breach of our terms and conditions.

 

Intellectual property, software and content

Gobe owns or has permission to use the intellectual property rights of its websites and their contents. These rights are protected in every region around the world. All rights are reserved and any infringement will be pursued with appropriate legal action. You may not use the Gobe logo, brand, brandmark or trademark (or anything similar) without our written permission from one of Gobe’s directors.

 

Linking to our websites

You can link to our websites in a way that’s fair and legal and provided it’s non-commercial and doesn’t damage or take advantage of our reputation. You may not link in a way that suggests any form of approval or endorsement by Gobe where none exists. Our Website must not be framed on any other site without our permission.

 

Complaints and concerns

Bad things happen to good people and you may want to get in contact with us. If that is the case, please contact our Customer Support team – it is their job to work with you to resolve any issues or concerns you may have.

 

Legal notes

We have the right to amend, remove or vary our services and/or any part of the website (including our T&C) at any time. 

 

User-generated content terms and conditions

If we have asked you to feature your content on our social media channels or website and you have responded with written permission or by responding with the required hashtag (such as #Yes) you agree that:

- We can use your social media handle and the content on our websites and/or on any of Gobe's social media platforms (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest).
- We can edit, crop, or modify the content to best fit our use.

 

You promise that you

- Have the permission of everyone in the content
- Have the right to grant Gobe the above rights
- Are at least 16 years of age

If you (or anyone in the content) asks us to remove the content, we will remove it from the social media accounts we own. You understand that other users of these social media platforms can also share and make use of the content once posted and acknowledge that this is beyond our control. If you do not want to grant the permissions set out above then please do not give us consent to use the Content.
